Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to read this site and ask us for a quote, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This page says what we have done, what we are still working on, and how to reach us if something is in your way.
Our standard
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
What we have done
- Every page has one heading structure, a skip link to the content, and landmarks for the header, navigation, main content and footer.
- Everything works from the keyboard, with a visible focus outline. The menu, the review carousel and the expandable questions can be used without a mouse.
- Text and background colours meet the contrast ratios for normal and large text. Text can be resized to 200 percent without loss.
- Photos carry text descriptions. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields are labelled, required fields are marked, and the form can be completed with a keyboard or a screen reader.
- Nothing moves or flashes on its own. Reduced-motion settings are respected.
- The site is readable on phones, with no horizontal scrolling and touch targets large enough to use.
Known limits
- Reviews are shown as Google publishes them and link to Google, whose pages we do not control.
- Some older photos were taken on site and have descriptions written after the fact. We improve them as we learn more about each job.
Tell us
If any part of this site is hard to use, or you need the information in another format, call (416) 676-6908 or tell us through the contact form. We will reply within a few business days and fix what we can. You can always ask for a quote by phone instead of the form.
