What walls in Vaughan usually need
Vaughan is custom-home country: Kleinburg, Woodbridge, Maple and Thornhill have some of the largest residential stucco jobs in the GTA, and the 1980s and 1990s subdivisions in between have EIFS that is now due for resealing or a new finish. Industrial and retail along Highway 7 and Jane adds the commercial side.
- Kleinburg and Woodbridge
Large custom homes, often fully in stucco with stone, columns and extensive mouldings. See the Woodbridge page for more.
- Maple and Thornhill
1980s to 2000s houses, many with original EIFS. Resealing, resurfacing and colour changes.
- Concord and Highway 7
Commercial buildings, plazas, showrooms and industrial offices in EIFS.
- New estates
New builds and rebuilds for builders and owners, priced from drawings.

Permits, access and weather in Vaughan
Custom homes mean tall walls and many openings. Scaffold is planned for the whole job and the details are set out from the drawings.
The City of Vaughan may require a permit when the wall assembly changes. We tell you what applies at the visit.
Thirty-year-old EIFS in Vaughan's subdivisions needs its joints redone. Done in time it costs little; left, it becomes water damage.

What our customers say
Vaughan stucco questions
My 1990s EIFS has cracks and dark streaks. What do I need?
Probably resealing and resurfacing, not replacement. We open a small area at the visit to confirm the wall behind is dry and quote from there.
Can you match the stucco on a large custom home exactly?
Yes. We match texture and colour and bring sample boards to the house.
Do I need a permit for stucco?
Replacing a finish like for like usually does not need a building permit. Adding insulation board to an existing wall changes the assembly and some municipalities want a permit for that, and heritage districts need approval for exterior changes. We tell you what applies to your house at the site visit.
Do you do commercial buildings in Vaughan?
Yes, from plazas to showrooms, scheduled around tenants.
Is the work insured and warrantied?
Yes. Stucco & Co carries $5 million liability insurance and WSIB coverage, and every job comes with a one-year warranty on our work.
