Can you modernise a 1990s stucco house without rebuilding it?
Yes. A new finish in a current colour, simplified mouldings and dark window trim change the house completely. The system underneath stays.
The columns on my porch are cracking. Can they be fixed?
Yes. EPS columns and arches are repaired or replaced and finished to match the house.
Do I need a permit for stucco?
Replacing a finish like for like usually does not need a building permit. Adding insulation board to an existing wall changes the assembly and some municipalities want a permit for that, and heritage districts need approval for exterior changes. We tell you what applies to your house at the site visit.
Do you match the stucco on neighbouring houses?
We can match any texture and colour. We bring samples so you can compare on the wall.
Is the work insured and warrantied?
Yes. Stucco & Co carries $5 million liability insurance and WSIB coverage, and every job comes with a one-year warranty on our work.
